Nestled amidst lush greenery and crafted with traditional wood, laterite stones and earthen roof tiles, each cottage embodies rustic elegance. Designed to comfortably accommodate two adults, the cottage also welcomes an infant child. The private sit-out offers a personal space to unwind, surrounded by the soothing sounds of nature.

Standard Amenities

At Areca County, we provide a thoughtfully curated selection of amenities to ensure a comfortable and convenient stay. Each cottage is equipped with warm LED lights that create a cozy ambiance and a ceiling fan for enhanced comfort. You’ll find ample power points for charging devices, a dressing mirror, hair dryer and an almera for storing personal belongings securely. The clean bathroom features a modern western commode, a wash basin, and an electric geyser for hot water. Basic toiletries, such as bath towels, toothpaste, shower gel and shampoo dispensers are available to ensure a hassle-free experience. The bathroom also includes a mirror and a dustbin for wet waste to maintain hygiene. Additionally, all windows are fitted with mosquito mesh to keep insects out while allowing you to enjoy fresh air. These amenities are designed to offer a blend of comfort and practicality, enhancing your stay amidst nature.

We also offer several amenities on request to enhance your stay. These include an iron box and access to a washing machine, perfect for longer visits. A cloth drying stand is also available, ensuring convenience for guests who need to dry their clothes. Additionally, we provide toothbrushes, tissue rolls, extra towels, extra pillows and extra sheets upon request. These services are designed to offer personalized comfort while maintaining our eco-friendly and minimalist approach.

We ensure uninterrupted comfort with an automated power backup system for essential amenities such as lights and fans. For the electric geyser, backup support via a generator is available during extended power outages. This service is activated manually and can also be provided upon request, ensuring you have access to hot water when needed.

Dining Experience

We maintain a clean, eco-friendly environment and encourage guests to enjoy meals in our separate common dining area. While snacks, tea and beverages can be served at your private sit-out, we kindly request guests avoid consuming food inside the cottage to prevent attracting ants. For those who wish to explore, nearby restaurants are just a 10-15 minute drive away.

• Our property is located within a Areca Plantation, surrounded by natural habitats.
• All cottages are strictly non-smoking. There is a designated smoking area outdoor.
• We provide in-house RO purified drinking water in glass bottles with unlimited FREE refills.
  Bisleri water bottle is available at MRP.
• We prepare vegetarian food only with pre-intimation.
• There are no tea/coffee bags in the cottage. We prepare fresh tea & coffee, billed seperately.
• One child below 7 years can stay for free and hence there is no need to specify them while making online reservation. If you have children above 7 years, do consider booking Family Cottage.
