ARECA FARM WALK
“MUST VISIT” if you are around Honnavar, Gokarna or Murudeshwar
Areca farms are found mostly in the coastal region of Karnataka. You can walk around wast 6 acres of areca plantation and explore the flaura/fauna. Off-course you can take a lot of pictures!
Pre-booking is mandatory and it helps us arrange a person to be available at the time of your visit.
Access to farm is free if you book your stay at Areca County or if you donate to Honavar Foundation.

NOTE
The activity is easy to moderate. Kids and senior citizens can also join the activity, however some part of the farm might be difficult for them and they can skip that.
There is a pond inside the farm and we do not allow getting into the water due to the depth.
There is a flowing water stream during the rainy and post rainy season.
Early morning time is recommended for bird watchers. One binocular is available on request.
